P2 Strength of the Week: LOVE
What we are learning:
ELA
We wrap up Module 3 Unit 1 this week. On Monday students take their End of Unit 1 Assessment: Analyzing Characters in Peter Pan. They will independently read Chapter 11 of Peter Pan and fill out a chart analyzing Wendy's character, as well as answer multiple choice comprehension questions. We will begin Unit 2: Writing Grounded in Evidence: An Opinion of Peter Pan on Tuesday. Students will be reading a new text, Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, and compare and contrast both texts. Students will develop their own opinion of the book, Peter Pan and write a book review throughout this unit.

Math
We continue learning about Area and Perimeter this week. Students will discover the relationship between multiplication and Area. (Length x Width = Area). Please encourage students to continue practicing their facts!

Social Studies
Our Economics Fair is Monday. I can't wait to see all the creative products students have been working so diligently on! We will reflect on this experience, as to what was successful and unsuccessful, and changes they would make to their entrepreneurial venture if they had the opportunity to do this experience over.
We begin a new unit in science: Force and Motion this week!
